As Austrians we have not seen Albert Heijn Minis before. But we learned that they have lots of fans and collectors in the Netherlands. Our idea was to create a hotel-room wallpaper using these Heijn fetish objects as inspiration and decoration. Different characters (guests, waiters, chefs, maintenance women, etc.), which are normally inside a hotel utilize these weird “things” in the Viennese Hotel Imperial – the place where state visits take place. Each of the 4 walls of our MOTI HOTEL box shows an ironic situation between guest and hotel stuff.
